New Fillable Form for Finding Fics

I was doing a bit of housekeeping on the blog this morning and realized that there has been an influx of requests for finding a specific fic. While I’m more than happy to try to track them down, quite a few of them have been fairly vague and/or they do not include information that I can use to search for them on A03. This makes it extremely difficult (and less likely) for me to find them.

As a result, I have created a Google Form in an attempt to make this process easier and more likely to be successful. Please answer as many of the questions listed on it as you can in order to help me find the fic you’re looking for.

Hi! I’m so glad that you’re enjoying the blog 🙂 In alphabetical order, here’s a fairly broad selection of some of my favorite fluffier fic recs:

I tend to have a thing for kids and family feels, which I’m sure you’ll notice, and some of them have other major themes as well, but I hope I’ve provided enough choices that you’re able to find something that you like.

I have also just started reading the Alec Lightwood’s Drunken Adventures series by Lecrit. I’m only two fics into it, but so far it’s wonderfully entertaining and fluffy so you might want to give those a try too if you haven’t already. You’re welcome! I’m sorry that I couldn’t find the one that you were looking for, but I got two corresponding answers for you, one from @la-muerta and one from an anon (thank you to both of you!), and they explain why I wasn’t able to locate it. They both think you’re looking for Title of Their Sex Tape by Lecrit, but unfortunately it’s been deleted. Sorry about that!

I did a search on A03 and unfortunately I’m not sure that I was able to find a Malec-centric fic that fits your exact description. From what I can tell, it looks like Luke or Magnus are chief in these. However, here are the links and descriptions to what I was able to find just in case.

It’s the third round of the heist at their precinct. Magnus and Jace are tasked with stealing a crown by midnight, and both are eager to prove that they are the greatest detective of all time. But when they each brush Alec aside and leave him off their teams, all bets are off.

Hi! The majority of what I can find are crossovers where Lucifer and/or Chloe interact with Magnus and Alec in some way. It sounds like you’re looking for a fusion where Magnus and Alec take on their roles instead and, based on what I see on A03, it looks like there is only one fic that fits your description: 

Sympathy for the Prince by Ketz

Prince of Hell Magnus Bane, was tired of his life in Hell. Every day was the same; condemned souls being punished for their wrong doings, demons feasting on the worst humanity had to offer, two or three deals with a few greedy humans. It was dull, uneventful. Boring.

Magnus decides to mix up a few new cocktails and Alec agrees to be the one tasting them out. One glass leads to much more and with Alec under the influence of alcohol things get a lot more heated between them.

I’ve never read it though. Based on your ask, I’m also not sure that that’s what you’re looking for. Unfortunately, nothing under that title pops up on Fanfiction.net or Tumblr either (although Tumblr’s search feature isn’t very advanced). It sounds like the fic may have been deleted and/or the author terminated their account.

However, I could be wrong and just not have a clear picture of what you’re looking for. If any readers know anything about this, please feel free to weigh in! I’m sure the anon would appreciate it! Thanks in advance!
