Canon compliant fics that cover this specific span of time are actually a bit more difficult to find than I had anticipated. The majority of the fics that I could find diverge from canon,  some more than others. However, here’s what I am able to recommend based on your request. 

Let me start with those I have already recced. For fics directly related to Episodes 18, 19, and 20 (including post-20), you can use the Episode-Based Tags on the Tags Index page. When I find fics that fit into elements that are present / events that take place in multiple episodes, I tag them as such. Based on my own quick search, here are a few that might fit what you’re looking for:

In terms of those I have not recced, there’s the Let’s Work Together, But Apart series by LoveMeThatsAllIAskOfYou. It consists of nine interconnected canon divergent one-shots that slightly re-imagine the events from 2×18 to 2×20 and could potentially fit your request.
