Calling all Shadowhunters fic writers!

This blog will be dedicating a single day to show the fandom’s appreciation for your creativity on National Author’s Day, but I need your help in order to pull it off. Please write a short message about your perspective as a fic writer to be shared on the blog throughout the day on November 1st. 

Not sure what to write? Here are a few potential ideas to help you get started:

  • What does writing mean to you?
  • What does sharing your writing mean to you?
  • What are your experiences as a fandom writer? Is there a specific memory that stands out to you, as a fic author, as being especially significant?
  • What is your favorite thing about writing fics (I.E., reimagining your favorite characters, connecting with your readers and other authors, etc.)

Summary:

Alec starts receiving gifts from a ‘secret admirer’, which are sweet but unexpected. His disbelief in the possibility of anyone liking him clouds his judgement, and with each one he receives, his puzzled confusion grows. What he isn’t aware of, is that he does actually know who his secret admirer is, and whether he believes it or not – they’re a lot closer than he realises.
