Hi! Yes, I’ve definitely recced some fics that focus on their sibling relationship. You’re right in that trying to go through the Izzy Lightwood tag can be tricky, because that includes fics where she’s anywhere from briefly mentioned to a full-fledged character making an appearance. It’s not as specific as an Alec & Izzy tag would be, so I think this is a very good idea.
However, if I’m going to do this I’d like to feature other relationships as well, for both Magnus and Alec. If you or anyone else would like to see other familial relationships and/or friendships included in this, please comment on this post, message me, or take part in the Google Forms poll that I just created. I’ll leave it open until Tuesday at 9:00 PM EST.
I fully intend on doing this, but I simply don’t have the time to re-tag fics at the moment. My next month outside of Tumblr is going to be incredibly busy and it’ll be all that I can do to promptly create and post recs and keep track of the Author Appreciation Day sign-ups. So please be patient, as I will transition this element into the Tags Index page but it’s going to take some time.

You’ll notice that I have made several of them live tonight, including the Ask Page, About Page, Tags Index Page, and Collections & Events Page. I have tried to double check all of the links, but obviously this has been a huge project and I may have missed something. If you find that a tag isn’t working or is incorrectly linked, please do not hesitate to let me know and I’ll look into it as soon as I can.
I am still working on two matching pages for Canon Universe Series and Alternate Universe Series, which will replace the current pages, as well as another that will house all of the Author Appreciation Day 2.0 information when it is released in about a week. Stay tuned!

I just hit 1300 followers – which is insane! – and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has decided to come on this crazy journey with me so far. I never imagined that this blog would receive the amount of positive reception and amazing support that it has, nor did I think that I’d get to meet such outstanding people simply by running it. Thank you all for everything!
Last year, this blog dedicated a single day to show the fandom’s appreciation for our amazing fic writers on National Author’s Day. Numerous readers and fic writers participated by leaving supportive and appreciative messages, which were then shared with the fandom on November 1, 2017.
I am definitely planning on making this an annual event, as I think it helps bring some positivity to the fandom and highlights a portion of our incredible artists who I feel often go underappreciated. This year, I want to do something a bit different and one of my ideas goes far beyond what I did last year. It would take a lot of planning, so I want to know if there’s interest in it first.
Question #1: Would you feel comfortable providing a mailing address to a private form so something small could be physically sent to you? The information would NEVER be made public. It would only be used for sending you something showing the fandom’s appreciation.
Question #2: Instead of something being physically sent to you, would you prefer that there was an option where the object showing the fandom’s appreciation could be sent as an attachment via email? Again, this address would NEVER be made public.

EVENTS
The final portion of the Countdown to Season 3 Event took place from March 1st to March 20th. It focused on fic recs related to episodes from Season 2 and Season 3 predictions. Spanning 29 days, 131 fic recs were posted over the course of the entire event.
In honor of the first day of spring, the Spring in New York Event took place on March 21st.
The 3A Episode Collection Event started on March 25th, the first installment running through March 27th. This weekly three-day event will continue following the next nine episodes of Season 3.
In honor of the two-year anniversary of 1×12: Malec airing on Freeform, episode-related fic recs were posted on March 29th during the 1×12 Anniversary Event.
MISCELLANEOUS
A new organizational method has been added to the blog: the Author Masterlist. Updated every month, this will feature the pseudonyms of every author who has had at least one fic recced by the blog. It can be accessed by using the button located in the Navigate section on the left-hand side of the blog or by clicking here. To view the informational post about this update, please click here.
I have started using the Twitter account a bit more, tweeting out daily fic rec round-ups, quote spotlights, and behind-the-scenes information and photos.
