If he trusts you, as he trusts Magnus, then he’ll let you into his heart, he’ll bear his soul forth and spin stories of precious silver and gold, and it’s nothing short of a gift.

In some ways you’re too sensible for him, but it’s what he needs – someone who thinks about him when he won’t. He’s been burnt in the past, scorched to the bone, and he thinks it’s what he’s worth, but you and I both know that isn’t true.
