ABOUT THE BLOG

After seeing quite a few posts in the Malec tag about fics recs, I thought a blog like this might be beneficial. I created it on February 19, 2017, hoping to use it as a way to recommend healthy pieces of fanfiction from multiple locations and organize them based on multiple criteria for a user-friendly experience.

I learned early on in my Shadowhunters fandom experience, while reading all of the Malec fanfiction that I could get my hands on, that these fic writers were absolutely phenomenal. The way they could transport these characters into different universes and canon scenarios, yet still capture the true essence of what makes us love Magnus and Alec so much amazed me. Creating and operating this blog was also a way to try to pay homage to them.

This site originated on Tumblr and moved to WordPress in December 2018. There are still several elements that are under construction, so please be patient as I fix and update certain things from the move.

MY PERSONAL FAVORITES

Although I have enjoyed all of the fics recommended on this blog, I do have my go-to authors and fics. These are usually the ones with fantastic writing style, phenomenal dialogue and descriptions, and make me feel something intensely while reading.
