But now that Alec felt the flimsy piece of lace between his fingers, surrounded by his loved ones and eyes focused on the only one that mattered, he felt a new kind of urgency he hadn’t experienced before. He wanted someday to be soon, tomorrow, now. And from the look on Magnus’ face, he understood.
